Speech Central has been available on the Mac App Store since 2017. At that time apps needed to be Mac only and cross-platform licensing was not allowed by Apple, which still influences those old apps.
After 8 years of steady growth, constant improvements and high user satisfaction, in November 2025 the app has made one big milestone – appearing in the relevant top chart in the US section of the Mac App Store.
The app was among top 25 paid productivity apps in the Mac App Store. Considering that Productivity is one of the most competitive categories, this is a significant achievement. And it is a great pleasure to share the same chart with some of the most appreciated brands in the Mac world.
