How to Download EPUB Books from Bookshare
If you wish to continue enjoying books from Bookshare, downloading them in EPUB format is straightforward. Here’s how you can do it:
- Visit the Bookshare website and log in to your account.
- Use the search bar to find the book you want to read.
- Once you find your book, click on the title to go to the book’s details page.
- Select the ‘Download’ button and choose the EPUB format.
- Your download will start immediately, and the book will be saved to your device.
Importing EPUB Books to Speech Central on iOS
Once you have your EPUB book downloaded from Bookshare, importing it into Speech Central on your iOS device is easy:
1. In the Books & Articles tab tap the ‘+’ button and then ‘Import File’
2. Tap on the ‘Browse’ tab at the bottom
3. Navigate through the folders and tap on the file you want to open.
Support for Enhanced Share Functionality
The process of downloading and importing books could be much simpler if Bookshare supported the share functionality directly from their Bookshare Reader app on iOS and Android. This is a trivial feature for Bookshare to implement, yet it has not been done to date.
